A Message About the New School Year

Dear parents,

Special greetings to you from my family and I during this time. It’s with great pleasure that I write to you as the 2020-2021 school year approaches.

Pneuma Christian Academy has taken great measures to prepare to receive your children in-person and online on Monday, August 24th. Thank God, our educational program and our teachers’ preparation allow us to serve our students both in-person and online at a high level of effectiveness.

The children are excited to start school again. We know that the way that the previous school year ended was different for everyone, especially for our kids. They are in a time of emotional, cognitive, social, spiritual and physical development and nothing really compares to them being in their classroom with their classmates and teachers.

That’s why we want you to let you know that on our end, we have done and will continue to do everything necessary so that your student can stay safe in our school with their group and teacher. There’s even a report that came out on the news about our school and our summer camp. I invite you to watch it through this link:

COVID-19 is a virus and no one can say that they won’t get it, but we are taking appropriate measures like maintaining physical distance, constant hand washing, wearing face masks, and keeping our facilities impeccably clean to reduce the risk of infection. Our students’ desks will even have plexiglass to ensure that our students have their own space within the classroom. Your children will be well taken care of at Pneuma Christian Academy.

Lastly, God’s word tells us in Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

In a time like this, it’s so good to have the promise of God over our lives and kids’ lives that tells us not to be afraid because He is with us. This word is a reality for me in every moment because I will not let fear paralyze me, but I will walk confidently in the God of my salvation that always sustains me.

Thank you for taking your time to read this and welcome to the new 2020-2021 academic school year at Pneuma Christian Academy.

Sincerely,

Christian Garcia

Senior Pastor of Pneuma Church
